Super Series qualifying events will be held in each of the four regions.

Super Series AA & Open Series Events (2X Points)

These events are AA and Open events; Champions and Finalist will be awarded paid births into the Super Series State or Regional Championships. Qualifying teams my choose one or the other (State or Regional to use their berth)

Super Series State Championship (4X Points)

All semi-finalists from the Super Series State Championship will qualify for the National Championship. To qualify for the Super Series State Championship, you must play in at least one PPS event prior to the State Championship. (State Directors can change the number of required events played, to as many as three) The Super Series State Champion will be promoted to the next division and will receive paid entries for the following season (e.g. 12A State Champ is promoted to 12AA for next season and receives free entries into PPS events)

Super Series Regional Championship (4X Points)

All semi-finalists from the Super Series Regional Championship will qualify for the National Championship. To qualify for the Super Series Regional Championship, you must play in at least Three PPS events prior to the State Championship. (State Director can move that number of events played, to as high as five or as low as two) The Super Series Regional Champions will be promoted to the next division for following season and will receive paid entries into those events. (e.g. 13AA Regional Champ is promoted to 13 Open for next season and receives free entries into PPS events)

Super Series World Series (4X Points)

Champions in each regional World Series will qualify and receive paid berths into the Super Series National Championship. Finalists and Semi-finalists will also qualify for the National Championship. To qualify for the Super Series World Series, you must play in at least Three PPS events prior to the World Series. (State Directors can change the number of events played, to as high as five) Super Series World Series Champions will be promoted to the next division and receive paid entries into those events for the following season. (e.g. 14A Regional Champ is promoted to 14AA for next season and receives free entries into PPS events)

Super Series National Championship (5X Points)

The Super Series National Championship will be filled by bid/invite only. Super Series National Championship bids can only come from participating in Super Series qualifying events in one or more regions within the PPS network. Bids will go in order of champions, finalists, and semi-finalists from qualifying events. If those teams do not accept their bid, the bid may then be awarded to another team from the same qualifying event in place of finish. The Super Series National Championship will move from region to region each year, varying the location and venue to provide our teams with the most unique Championship experience in the country! The Super Series National Championship dates and location will be announced at the beginning of each season

Super Series National Championship Structure:

  • 32 Teams per division (e.g. 12A, 12AA, 12Open) : There will be 8 bids from each region
  • 4 game guarantee with “College Style” Double Elimination (the first 16 teams eliminated will be placed into a single elimination, silver bracket)
  • Tournament Seeding: Seeding will be awarded by National PPS Team Rankings.
  • Super Series “Red Flag”protection: Teams from the same organization will not be paired against each other in the first round of bracket play; (applies to first round only)
  • Super Series National Champions will receive a paid berth into the Super Series Regional Championship the following year.
  • Super Series National Champions will receive a “Defend the Title” bid into the Super Series National Championship the following year.
